The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a civil rights organization in the United States, formed in 1909 as an interracial endeavor to advance justice for African Americans by a group including W. E. B. Du Bois, Mary White Ovington, Moorfield Storey and Ida B. Wells. Please watch this short video for more information regarding our founding.

Monthly Membership Meeting

Our monthly SJ/SV NAACP meeting will be a Zoom meeting this Thursday at 6:00pm. We had hoped to meet in person but our building is still limiting the number of persons allowed in the conference room.
